Marc has more than 25 years of experience helping companies and individuals with their retirement planning needs. Beginning his career in 1994 with a large well-known insurance company, primarily working with non-profit entities, helping teachers and nurses plan for their retirement. In the early 2000’s he moved to a large consulting firm that helped companies improve their retirement programs by focusing on critical areas such as vendor selection, fiduciary investment selection and monitoring, and participant education services. This background helped provide Marc with a thorough understanding of critical, and often unknown, areas for improvement. In 2009, he partnered with Employee Benefit Design, as part of the FitLife Benefits team, to help expand the retirement planning services for both employers and individuals. Marc holds his series 65 investment advisory license with Global Retirement Partners and the FINRA series 7 license with LPL Financial. He has been a member of ASPPA (American Society for Pension Professionals and Actuaries) since 2003 and holds their QPA (Qualified Pension Administrator) designation.
Although Marc grew up in central Illinois, Southwest Missouri has been home for over 35 years. His wife Ami is a nursing faculty member at Missouri State University. Together they have raised four boys and recently added 3 grandchildren (including their first girls) as well. They both enjoy spending time with their family and friends, going to concerts, and snow-skiing when they can. Marc also enjoys golfing and, although very difficult, rooting for the Chicago Bears. He attended Missouri State University on a football scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Human Resources Management.
